PITTSBURGH and OSLO – April11, 2018 – NEP Group is thrilled toannounce that their Mediabank team, along with their partners at Discovery, arethe proud winners of a 2018 IABM BaM Award™ in the project/collaborationcategory for their work to create the first ever cloud-based media asset managementsystem for the Olympic Games.  Mediabank’s media asset management solutionfacilitated live MCR, ingest, craft editing of highlights, automated clipgeneration, storage of content, distribution of live content and clips, asignal hub, an audio matrix and 24/7 monitoring and support for over 12,000hours of Olympic content.

The IABM BaM Awards™ celebrate and recognize the achievements ofbroadcast and media innovators that deliver real business and creativebenefits, and are judged by an independent panel of experts. 

The judges lauded the success of the Mediabank solution, saying, “Using a cloud-based solution as the MAMplatform for one of the highest-profile broadcasting events such as the OlympicGames is a brave decision, and successfully utilizing it to deliver all of theOlympic content to 50 territories in 21 languages is a great achievement.”
